I have been having pain in my left leg, w/ pain going into foot. Pain is hot like, numbish, kinda asleep like. Could this be a prob w/ L5&S1 region?

Many things. Many things can cause this type of discomfort. Numbness and pain in extremities can be secondary to a musculoskeletal cause such as your back. Yes. Yes usually nerve roots exit the spinal cord at the low back area and travel down to the foot. L5. & S1 travel downward to the lateral aspect of your foot and toes.Passing by the buttock then on the middle of the thigh and calf passing near the ankle. So pain could be felt on all this areas. Take OTC NSAID IF NOT ALLERGIC and go to your doctor. Good luck. Read more...
