For a second or third degree burn, you should consult a physician to take a look.
If its a first degree burn, run cold water over it, cool cloths but no direct ice. If it blisters, do not pop. Some people feel butter helps, but that is more up to the individual. If you have silvedine around, put some on to control infection and decrease scarring.
