Vasospasm. Nimodipine assists in deterring vasospasm caused by SAH. Vasospasm is one of the leading reasons for stroke and morbidity following SAH from aneurysm rupture in particular. It must be administered orally for at least 2 weeks. Not as popularly used for traumatic SAH. Best of luck. .
