How can you treat small bladder?

Medication. Anticholinergic medications are usually effective in increasing functional bladder capacity. (oxybutynin er, Detrol or vesicare (solifenacin) are all good). Sometimes bladder hydrodistension under general anesthesia can help. Try ; avoid augmentation cystoplasty, using a segment of bowel to enlarge bladder, unless you have a small neurogenic bladder.
