In brief: Not likely

The cause of most meningiomas is not known.
A few occur in genetic syndromes such as neurofribomatosis type ii, and some occur after radiation therapy for other tumors. Head trauma is not known to cause these tumors. Sometimes one is discovered when there is head trauma leading to a brain scan (ct or mri) as an "incidental" finding.
