Any advice? What sort of disability/medical reason/injury would require the use of forearm crutches?

In brief: Any need for

Long term crutch use can require lofstrand, or forearm crutches.
Axillary crutches are not intended for long term. So if some one needs crutches long term, say from nerve damage in legs leading to weakness, they may require these types of crutches.
