Spina bifida. Myelomeningoceles are almost always repaired within the first couple of days of life. The exception to that is unavailability of a surgeon to do it young leading to a later repair. The other situation where the family does not want it repaired.

There are a number. Of other medications for bowel movement, including the magic bullet if you are looking for suppository meds. If oral is preferred, can consider miralax, (polyethylene glycol) magnesium citrate for short term use only. Do you use any narcotic medications?
