In brief: Below the level

Of the injury, you can have disruption of anything from a few sensory nerves to complete disruption of all signals.
In a complete spinal cord injury, there is basically no neuronal connection below the level, or at least very poor signals with scar tissue interference. All fibers can be disrupted, pain, temperature, vibratory, touch, autonomic, motor and sensory, all can be severed.
