What does a new but recurring nosebleed tell you?

Dr. Barry Bergman
Pediatrics
In brief: Irritated
Probably rubbed or picked the nose at the very front upper inner wall and caused the bleeding.
If it stops readily with pressure that is likely what the cause is. You can help by not rubbing or picking your nose and you can put s small dab ( with q-tip) of vaseline in the upper inner front part twice a day. Also saline mists are okay too.
