I've got to go for an EEG for my seizure too look at my brain waves. Could I cover my eyes while I'm doing my eeg?
Yes, mostly. Part of what is assessed in an eeg is the change in brain activity as the eyes open and close, as well as in response to flashing lights. While the technician will ask you to open your eyes for brief periods during the test to record these responses, the majority of the test can be performed with you lying down quietly with your eyes closed.
