Please help! What is the diff between stages of cancer and grades of cancer?

Good question! Stage describes how spread a cancer is. Usually, but not always, it goes from stage 1 (or 0 in some cases) to 4. Grade has to do with how the cells look under the microscope. The more they look like normal cells, the better. Both high stage and high grade usually mean worse prognosis but they do not always go together. You can have a high grade, low stage cancer or viseversa.
