I've got eye pressures of 23 & 24, can I get lasik?

A high eye pressure. Does not prevent you from having lasik. It means that you need to be watched for glaucoma. If your optic nerves are very cupped, then you may not be a great candidate for having the procedure. There are so many variables other than pressure that are important. Best to ask one or two lasik doctors.
Eye pressure & Lasik. Usually pressures over 19 could be considered ''elevated'' and we try to control that pressure. As a Lasik specialist, I usually control any other eye problems before we discuss letting the patient get this elective treatment; Custom, High-Definition Lasik. While Lasik is simple & safe & successful, the measurement of the eye pressures can be less precise after Lasik and we try to treat that 1st.
