Surgery

In brief: Pain

Depends how how sick your appendix was(whether perforated or not) and how your surgery was done(open or laparoscopically).
In general for laparoscopic appendectomy for nonperforated appendicitis, expect 2-3 days of pain that requires narcotic pain meds, then soreness for 2-3 weeks. Any fevers, vomiting, or worsening pain would be concerning.
