In brief: Definitely
In babies UTI can present as an unexplained fever and we have a high index of concern for uti when fevers present and there is no " source" so to speak.
Older kids can have the typical lower tract symptoms of burning, frequency and urgency, with tenderness over the kidneys, but not always.

In brief: Not as frequent
Adults are more likely to get urinary tract infections than kids.
They can still occur in kids but are much less frequent.
