Any shoe after an hour or so my toes start to go numb and sometimes a shooting pain will be in my Achilles heel area?

In brief: Wider shoe may help
Could be that the foot spreads out and your shoes are too tight.
Does this happen when you are barefoot?

In brief: Too tight
It sounds like the toe box of your shoes may be too tight.
Shooting pain could be related to that or a neuroma, often found in the ball of the foot. Another possibility for the pain could be plantar fasciitis. Sometimes redistributing weight by using a metatarsal plate or other insert can help. A podiatrist (foot doctor) may be able to help.
