I have vcd with laryngospasms, strong smells trigger it. Now I have a floppy epiglottis that makes a gobbling sound when I breath. Any idea why?

Don't overthink it. If you know the above you've had very good laryngeal exams. There is nothing seriously wrong with your epiglottis. If something worsens, go back to your ent. Continue your acid reducer, likely omeprazole. It can take months for it to have its final effects. It may help to get allergy shots to reduce any irritation of your airway. Speech therapy could be very helpful.
