In brief: Discontinuation
I assume you are experiencing a discontinuation syndrome from abruptly stopping the medication.
This is characterized by flu-like symptoms, tingling in fingertips or a sense of derealization. Generally, these symptoms improve in 5 to 7 days. Although not the worst of the ssri's, Paxil (paroxetine) has a fairly strong discontinuation syndrome. Side effects produced while taking disappate w/in 7 to 14days of sto.
