Hi doctors, was just wondering what is a lacunar infarcat left basal ganglia?

Small Stroke. Those findings are small strokes of specific areas of the brain that are subcortical or below the cortex. Two of the three mechanisms for those strokes are related to a chronic vascular disease associated with hypertension. Other likely risk factors include diabetes mellitus and possibly smoking. Symptoms will depend on what was affected. See your Neurologist or PCP. Not a 'classic stroke'.
