Could pointed shoes really cause feet deformities?

Definately. Painful hammertoes, ingrown toenails, neuromas, bunions are some for tities that can be caused by tight shoes....
They will contribute. Pointed shoes can cause compression in the toes and if worn regularly for years, can resulted in positional changes which can create deformities such as hammertoes and can exaggerate problems associated with bunions and bunionettes. However, the compression can also contribute to several pathologies internally and externally like neuromas, capsulitis, and calluses/corns.
