If the child is having ear infections back to back for more than 2 months, or not clearing up in between antibiotics, it may be time for an ear, nose, and throat consultation.
A change of antibiotics might be needed, or if that doesn't clear the infection, he may need pe tubes to allow the fluid to drain properly. Talk with your doctor to find out if this is needed.
