Could any current medications completely eliminate the zoonotic infection, toxoplasmosis?

In brief: Yes, there are meds

Cure is achieved by Pyrimethamine plus a second medicine (sulfadiazine, clindamycin, azithromycin, or atovaquone).
Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) can also be used. The problem is that in patients with an unhealthy immune system, such as in aids, it is very hard to get rid of toxo as well as to keep it from coming back.
