What are criteria for giftedness?

It is debatable: . Giftedness & high IQ (>130) continue to be equated by some scholars. A number of people have described giftedness as a fundamentally different way of perceiving the world, which in turn affects every experience had by the gifted individual. I like the idea of a gifted child as one who acquires and processes information and solves problems at a younger age and a faster rate than others.
