I had a 1.3cm pineal cyst found in may. Lately had funny visual symptoms and head pressure. An opthamologist said the back of my eye looked normal. Does that rule out increased intracranial pressure?

Probably. However, if you continue to have headaches you should see the ophthalmologist again for a repeat exam and visual field testing. The only way to definitively rule out increased intracranial pressur is a lumbar puncture.
Yes/no. Pineal cyst are typically not a problem. Rarely, if large, they can intermittently compress a region in the brainstem that controls eye movements. If your intracranial pressure is high, an opthalmologist may see swelling of your optic nerves on exam. The way to know for sure is a lumbar puncture where your "opening pressure" is measured.
