Can primary nocturnal enuresis at age 21 be caused by a spinal syrinx or cmt? Does it have to be checked out?

In brief: Both cause enuresis

Presence of syrinx can be associated with primary enuresis.
Charcot-marie-tooth usually becomes evident in adolescence, and patients can develop secondary enuresis, although primary enuresis may have been present from birth ; enuresis remained after symptoms of CMT developed without a period of dryness in-between.

In brief: Hold up!!

Spinal syrinx? Cmt? Two completely different conditions on opposite ends of the spectrum. Have your doctor check you out, thorough work up, do not take a shot gun approach.
