To be a "Tourette" sufferer you would need to have a pattern of uncontrolled movement/events that fulfills the multiple pieces of this affliction.
This includes vocal/throat/oral events as well as motor activity. Tourettes by definition are chronic, but you can have a chronic tic (>6mo) that is not Tourette.
