?scar tissue. Sometimes scar tissue postoperatively can cause the same symptoms that were initially treated. You need to return to see your physician to reassess why you are having so much pain.
Need to assess . Possible sources of back pain which may be related to structural issues of spine in terms of facet joints or discs leading to mechanical instability - in some cases with wide decompressions leading to stress fractures of remaining bone ie. Pars region. Need spine surgeon to assess with standing flexion/extension films, ct scan ; contrast MRI if failed pt, etc unless smoker then high failure rate.
