My nose is bleeding. How long should it take for this bleeding to subside?

In brief: About 10 minutes
A nosebleed without any underlying cause or disease should stop with firm pressure on both sides of the nose for 10 minutes by the clock (because it seems like a long time!) if it doesn't stop by then, it may be bleeding from farther back in the nose or there may be another problem..
.See a doctor or emergency room.

In brief: Nose bleed
The average nose bleed should resolve in 15 minutes or less.
If your epistaxis is recurrent and lasts longer you should get tested for bleeding disorders
