In brief: Ingrown Nail
I have seen this happen before, more times than i would like.
..And, it would be one of the worst experiences of your life.... If the infection from an ingrown nail, gets into the bone at the end of your toe ( osteomyelitis ).....The infected bone will need to be removed, and you would then, need IV antibiotics for about 1 months. Please do not let this happen...See a specialist.
