In brief: No.

Expiration dates are established to drugs in order to "guarantee" the effectiveness of the same.
Depending on the medicine, it can do nothing or it could work as an exception but there is no way that a doctor can okay the use of it.

expiration date means exactly what it says, for safety and effectiveness do not use beyond the expiration date.

In brief: OK.

Unless this was stored way out of conditions of temperature or humidity you should be just fine.
Expiration dates are extended for a variety of reasons on most meds.
