What do doctors do if they dislike a patient?

2 doctors agree
In brief: They do not dislike
Doctors do not dislike patients , they may disagree if patients are non-complaint , not following medical advice, and resisting treatments, then terminate the patient-physician contract ( an obligation and will not take care any longer ), give enough time to find a new physician.

I disagree. We doctors are humans. We really like some patients, and if we are honest, there are patients we dislike.

I disagree with Dr Devon , why should a doctor dislike a patient , if follows instructions, takes medications , keeps appointments and pays for services why any doctor dislike the patient , personal prejudice and bios should not effect patient physician relations taking care of sick is not a job is mission for doctor.

In brief: Hard to say
First, a doctor has to recognize that (s)he dislikes a patient.
Many doctors will not admit this to themselves, so it comes out in other ways. (s)he may joke about the patient with other doctors as a way to relieve tension, or avoid seeing the patient by cancelling/moving appointments, or may be curt and inattentive when the patient comes in. If you sense your doctor dislikes you, get a new one!
