Radiology/neurology. Ct scan shows bone, MRI shows soft tissue, so therefore can't indentify disease of skull bones. Intercrainial means misdiagnosis?

In brief: Both are complex

CT and MRI can identify bones and soft tissues of the skull and anatomy of the brain but in different types of detail.
Intracranial means inside the skull.

In brief: Misinformation

These scans can show the bone especially the ct.
They are designed to see the brain when done in that area but the bones can be seen and can give indications of disease. The brain is intracranial in location. Depending on what it is one is looking for, ct or MRI with or without contrast can be used to image it.
