Men and women carry the same types of hpv.
Hpv-6 and hpv-11 are the most common low risk types (low risk = risk of warts but low risk of cancer). Hpv-16 and hpv-18 are the most common high risk types (higher risk of cancer). It is recommended that boys get the hpv vaccine as well now.
