Pregnancy is not the time to be on a weight-loss regimen.
The wisest thing you can do is maintain activity, eat healthily, and try to limit your weight gain with the baby. Talk to your OB about your concerns. But please do not go on a weight loss diet when pregnant.

Even women who start their pregnancy significantly overweight are not supposed to lose weight during pregnancy. Newer recommendations are for patients who are obese to not gain any weight during pregnancy (simply to maintain their starting weight), though that is extremely difficult to do in pregnancy. Can limit to 15# weight gain by increasing proteins/veggies/fruits/whole grains; dec simple carb
