I am 5 yrs out from gastric bypass and in the last year I have noticed an increase in my feeling hungry. This was not an issue in the past.?

Bypass weight gain. You may have an enlarged gastric pouch, and enlarged anastomosis, or both, which can allow you to eat more and also feel hungrier. You should see a bariatric surgeon and get an egd and upper GI to assess your anatomy.
Satiation change. The efficacy of gastric bypass has been shown to decrease with time. There may be a correlation to the ghrelin / hunger related hormone level in the brain and the benefits of bypass surgery.
