In brief: Frenectomy

A labial frenectomy is a procedure that cuts the fibrous band which attaches the upper lip to the upper jaw.
People have this procedure to help stabilize the closure of a space between the upper front teeth. Dissolvable sutures are used so that you won't need to see the surgeon following the surgery to remove the sutures. Remember to have the space closed first before the frenectomy.

If the Frenectomy is done with the dental Laser, no sutures (stitches) are needed

In brief: What is question ?

If you have dissolvable sutures, they will dissolve on their own.
If they are there after 10 days, see the surgeon. If concerns, call your surgeon. Good Luck.
