In brief: Tooth pain

Pregnancy causes changes in your hormones.
Many pregnant women are more sensitive especially on their gum tissue. It is really important to spend more time on your teeth during this time-brush and floss. If you have a tooth bothering you- see your dentist now-a infection can be big problems. Check with your obstetrician also. If you don' have problems see your dentist 1st and 3rd trimesters.

In brief: Can become more awar

Pregnancy can make one more aware of dental pain.
Many often have an over active response with swelling, bleeding or sensitivity in the mouth compared to normal... It is not correlated to the beginning or end of a problem, just indicative that there is a problem. 3 month cleaning intervals are recommended to avert dental infection, periodontitis, pain, etc, as well as pre-term/low birth weight.

In brief: Pregnancy

Pregnancy alters hormones and sensory nerve reactivity.
Pain indicates infection, which can endanger both you and your baby. Will not self-cure. Imperative that you see Dentist immediately.
