In brief: Bursitis can occur
Bursitis can occur in virtually all forms of arthritis.
However, bursitis in several areas ccan be do to trauma or overuse: examples-trochanteric bursitis-side of the hip-trauma or laying with too much pressure. Another is the subacromial bursa in the shoulder. Can be do to many things, including overuse type issues. There are others, but these are major examples!

In brief: Inflammation
A bursa is a structure you body places between skin, tendons, and bone to allow for smooth movement.
When a bursa is swollen and inflamed, it is called bursitis. Arthritis is inflammation within a joint. So both problems are similar: inflammation. They involve different structures: a bursa or a joint. The treatments are often similar.
