In brief: For most people -

Yes. But, it can be very sedating.
Your reflexes may be slower. Don't operate vehicles or dangerous machinery on Ativan (lorazepam) until you know how it effects you. Don't mix it with alcohol.

In brief: QUESTIONS

Where would you get 2 mg ativan, (lorazepam) and why would you want t take it? What are you thinking/feeling that you consider this.
Drs would use it for anxiety - have you seen a dr yet? Should. Whatever the reason you ask, trying to deal with it alone is probably not a good approach. Check with your dr - the bigger issue is not the safety of the med or the dose, but why you want to use it.
