In brief: Have never seen it
Although i probably se a half dozen cases of pr /yr I have never seen it in a newborn in three decades + of practice.
I do remember one case in a toddler about 18 mo, but none younger.

In brief: Very unlikely
Even though occasional cluster of cases have been reported, no definitive causative agent has been identified.
In addition, pityriasis rosea mostly occurs in older children and adults.
