Yes. Coffee is a risky intake when breastfeeding premi's or the newly born because they cannot metabolize the caffeine fast enough. It could easily rise to a toxic level in that group. However,your average 10 mo infant has achieved the metabolism changes necessary to handle it. I would limit it to whatever does not interfere with the kids sleep habits, since it will pass to baby.
