Can laser hair removal actually work?

In brief: Yes

No such thing as hair removal - rather hair reduction.
Every treatment with an effect laser (i.e. Diode, or alexandrite) reduces the growing hair by 80%. Since hair growth is cyclical, you must go for treatments every 4-6 weeks. Other lasers are less effective. Do your research before actually going to a laser clinic!

In brief: Works well

hair reduction is correct.
it will drastically reduce hair but many people need touch ups once or twice a year. beware, LHR sounds wonderful but it is extremely painful and can cause serious burns and infections. if you elect to have this done please go to a dermatology clinic and not a medspa.it will be expensive and take 5-10 sessions.
