I was just seen for back pain and was told about something called vasculitis, what does that tell you?

Not good news. Vasculitis is an inflammation of your blood vessels. Vasculitis causes changes in the walls of your blood vessels, including thickening, weakening, narrowing and scarring. There are many types of vasculitis. Acute one and chronic. Vasculitis, can be so severe that the tissues and organs supplied by the affected vessels don't get enough blood. Good luck thank you.
Not much. Vasculitis refers to a group of disorders characterized by inflammation of the blood vessels. Your back pain is a separate issue and is not related to the vasculitis.
