In brief: No health benefits

Not only does purging, via vomiting, laxatives, diet pills or other methods significantly increase risks of major health complications such as cardiac abnormalities, pancreatitis, gastroparesis, esophageal rupture and even sudden death, purging often leads to weight gain through alterations in hormone levels and slowing of one's metabolism.
