If I want my baby born at another hospital, can I ask my ob to refer me to a doctor there?

In brief: Referrals

This is usually much better than showing up at a hospital where you have seen none of the doctors on staff.
While there will be someone to take care of you that is not the optimal situation. They won't have your records and you may not be on the same wavelength as the covering physician. Do this soon before you are very advanced in your pregnancy.
