In brief: Half-strength OK
The main goal is to keep the wound clean.
Tongue wounds generally heal very rapidly. Half-strength peroxide (mixed 1:1 with water) is a good agent to swish around and then spit out to cleanse the oral cavity.

Mixing peroxide with a mouth wash half and half will taste a little better. Try cepacol or scope.

In brief: No
Just rinse with water. Take b2 - riboflavin will heal quicker.
