In brief: No

Midcycle or ovulatory pain (doctors sometimes use the word mittelschmerz) is variable both from woman to woman and from month to month in the same individual.
It always comes from the ovary (right or left) and is therefore one sided. (the uterus is a midline structure). It typically is brief (one day or less), responds to any pain medication (acetaminophen, tylenol etc.) and has no lasting impact.
