What can cause bilateral joint pain? Began in knee's and now fingers, wrists, lump on each arm by wrist. Ra/lupus test neg 3yrs ago, not fibromyalgia

Can be inflammatory. You have symptoms on both sides of your body involving large and small joints. You may have some type of inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis (ra). Sometimes the tests for RA such as the rf and anticcp antibodies can be negative; and you can still have ra. Consider seeing a rheumatologist.
Most common dx is RA. In someone with this presentation (like you have). Need to be re-investigated as 3 yrs a long time ago. See a rheumatologist who'll be able to help you most. Good luck.
