Food, particularly taken too close to bedtime or amounts that greatly distend stomach walls, can greatly affect sleep.
Also the type of food/drink taken will affect sleep. If problems sleeping, consider making sure last meal or snack is at least 2 hours from bedtime and is a lighter meal. That being said, going to bed hungry can distrupt sleep.
