In brief: Cat scratch injury
Scratches from cats can produce a significant bacterial infection called "cat scratch fever" which is characterized by significant fever along with enlarged, tender lymph nodes proximal to the area of the scratch (in the case of an ear scratch, any of the neck lymph nodes might react).
If you did not get this illness within a week or two of the scratch, you have nothing to be concerned about.
