What are the side effects of lung cancer? And what is the process of getting rid of it or is it curable? Can you live with one lung?

In brief: Multiple

Lung cancer effects can either be local, due to the location of the cancer, or distant, due to metastasis or spread.
Once diagnosed, treatment is focused on removal or chemotherapy and /or radiation if not removable. Cure is generally based on the stage of the cancer at presentation. You can live with one lung quite well.

Frankly there are new treatments that help certain types of lung cancer.
See an oncologist immediately as only he can answer your questions specifically. Generally it is an extremely serious disorder.
